i have returned to georgia after a month in california recording the new Showbread album Who Can Know It? which is currently being mastered and will be released as a free gift through comeandlive.com on november 16th. it’ll also be available through all the traditional mp3 retailers (itunes, amazon mp3, etc.) and we’ll be selling physical editions online.
the webstore is now caught up and all the orders placed during the last few weeks are on the way. we’ve also updated the shipping policy; insurance is now optional on all orders and super protective shipping is optional for comic book orders.
my upcoming Showbread memoir The Joke That We Play On The World is still gearing up for release, but i’ve decided to delay it for a brief period in order to focus all our attention on the work involved with releasing the new Showbread album. The Joke That We Play On The World will be released first thing in 2011. happy new year.
Issues 2 and 3 of The Black Meat are both nearing completion as artists Elizabeth Jancewicz and Journey Osburn continue working on the art. The gap between issues 1 and 2 has been a little longer than we originally hoped, but we’re dealing with an extremely independent comic book, so we do the best we can. Copies of issue one are still available for the time being. To hold you over, check out this sneak peek at artwork from the second issue:
